PITTSBURG — The Tom Anthony Radio Show will make its season debut Monday (Aug. 26) at Chatters restaurant and bar.
Veteran broadcaster Eddie Lomshek hosts the hour-long show with Coach Anthony live on location at 5 p.m. Fans can listen to the program in person, on the radio on ESPN 100.7 FM – the Gorilla Sports Network flagship station – or online at espn1007.com.
My Town Media, ESPN 100.7 FM’s parent company, enters its eighth year as the exclusive radio rights holder for Pitt State Athletics. In addition to football, its coverage includes all Pitt State men’s and women’s basketball games, as well as select regular season broadcasts for Pitt State baseball and softball and all postseason games in those sports.
Lomshek enters his 18th season calling Pitt State football play-by-play and his 28th year as part of the broadcast team. Former PSU wide receiver Mike Smith enters his seventh season as the analyst and Sam Reeves will begin his second season as the sideline reporter.
Coverage of Pitt State football each week begins two hours prior to kickoff with Gorilla Gameday hosted by KSHQ program director Mike Snow on ESPN 100.7 followed by network pregame coverage one hour before kickoff.
Fans in and around Pittsburg and in Southwest Missouri can hear Pitt State football on KSHQ ESPN 100.7 FM and KWXD 103.5 FM. Pitt State will open its 2024 season next Saturday, Aug. 31, by hosting Ferris State University in a battle of NCAA Division II top 10 squads. The Gorillas, the two-time defending MIAA champions, are ranked No. 6 in the preseason AFCA/Division II Top 25 poll while the visiting Bulldogs are ranked No. 3.
